The driving rain, relatively clean for stormwater, rushed in thru the patio doors and soaked the hardwood flooring and the indoor/outdoor carpeting. Luckily, the homeowner immediately called SERVPRO to come and help. Our crew is ready, and our Green Fleet is stocked with the equipment and products to mitigate this type of damage quickly. We can remove the water with a wet/dry vac since the volume was small and set up isolation areas using flat lay plastic sheeting to reduce the treatment volume and thereby expedite the drying of the wet elements. Shown in the After Photo is an LGR low grain refrigerant dehumidifier to capture and condense the water vapor pulled off the damp surfaces by the air movers. "Like it never even happened."
